All age eligible players are invited to attend the Idaho Amateur Hockey Association Player Development Camp held in the spring of each year. These camps offer an opportunity for players to improve your skills and learn new skills. Players also have the opportunity to demonstrate your skill level and possibly advance to the Rocky Mountain District Camp.
Eligible birth years for the 2026 Camp are
Boys: 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012
Girls: 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013

Greetings – I hope this finds everyone ready for the holidays & 2nd half of the 2025-26 hockey season. With such in mind and recalling the feedback earlier this year from some on late notice of planned RMD Girls camps, please find attached/below relevant information & camp flyers for such in 2026. A few dates/sites have changed since the 9/27 RMD Annual Meeting when preliminary information was shared with your Affiliate Presidents. Anyway, the dates/sites below have been confirmed and all the information has been posted on the RMD Girls Camp webpage. Please get this information out to your associations/programs so families can plan accordingly as I’ve already been getting a fair number of inquiries from parents, which will only increase after the holidays. I’ve also listed below your Camp dates, so if anything has changed, please let us know. As an aside, Girls Affiliate allocations will not be available until after the 2026 USA Hockey Winter Meeting in Nashville on Jan. 15-18. Please let us know of any questions you might have. Please find listed below dates/locations and relevant information for the planned 2026 RMD Girls Player Development Camps (PDC) & Player Evaluation Camp (PEC). The Girls Camp summaries below and flyers should provide all the essential information needed for each Girls Camp. Player selections will be up to each Affiliate to determine. As a reminder, only USA Hockey-registered players for the 2025-26 season and US citizens are eligible to participate in the Camps listed below.
2026 RMD PLAYER EVALUATION CAMP (PEC)
FARMERS BRANCH, TX

MAY 8-10, 2026
BIRTH YEARS – 2009, 2010, 2011
Select Girls players with 2009-2011 birth years (17s-16s-15s) will advance from each Affiliate camp to participate in the 2026 RMD PEC for the opportunity to advance to USA Hockey’s National Player Development Camps (dates & sites vary by age). The RMD PEC for girls will include warm-ups/cooldowns, games, goalie session, and information sessions (i.e. future opportunities, mental health, nutrition, training, etc.) High-level coaches and/or hockey directors from outside the RMD will be used to conduct the player evaluations. RockyMountainRegister will be used for player registration with a cost of $350/player to cover coaches, hospitality, ice, jerseys/socks, medical, speakers, travel, etc. The registration deadline is May 1st. Select players by birth year & position will advance to USA Hockey National Camps to be held in the summer.
2026 WESTERN REGIONAL GIRLS HIGH PERFORMANCE CAMP
HENDERSON, NV

BIRTH YEAR – 2012
Girls players with a 2012 birth year should be selected from each Affiliate to participate in the 2026 Western Regional Girls High Performance Camp, which is a “joint venture” with the Northern Plains and Pacific Districts. This Camp will include games, goalie session, off-ice training, practices, SAGs, and information sessions (i.e. future opportunities, mental health, nutrition, training, etc.) This Camp is focused on high-level skill development with the opportunity to play alongside the best players in the Western Region. RockyMountainRegister will be used for player registration with a cost of $525/player to cover coaches, hospitality, ice, jerseys/socks, medical, speakers, travel, etc. The registration deadline is May 1st. This multi-District Girls Camp is in its 3rd year in Henderson. Participating players do not advance to any USA Hockey National Camps.
2026 RMD GIRLS HIGH PERFORMANCE CAMP
SALT LAKE CITY, UT
SLCO SPORTS COMPLEX (STEINER)
JUNE 12-14, 2026
BIRTH YEAR – 2013
Girls players with a 2013 birth year should be selected from each Affiliate to participate in the 2026 RMD Girls High Performance Camp. This Camp will include games, goalie session, SAGs, skills & drills, and information sessions (i.e. future opportunities, mental performance, nutrition, training, etc.) Girls should have a minimum of 2yrs of hockey experience with advanced skating/playing abilities as the Camp is focused on advanced skill development. RockyMountainRegister will be used for player registration with a cost of $200/player to cover coaches, hospitality, ice, jerseys/socks, officials, speakers, travel, etc. The registration deadline is May 1st. This RMD Girls Camp is in its 4th year in Utah. Participating players do not advance to any USA Hockey National Camps.
