Profile Information & Age Restriction (Under 13 Years-of-Age)

All officials should create a USAHockey.com Profile to,

  • Access their Referee Status page for registration updates
  • Register for a seminar
  • Transfer to a different seminar
  • Submit online game reports (if applicable to your state or district - click HERE for further assistance)

USAHockey.com Profiles do not require actually membership (player, coach, official, etc.) to create, and registering as a member of USA Hockey does not automatically create a profile.

Additionally, due to Federal COPPA Laws (
Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act) USA Hockey is not allowed to take personal information via the internet from any person under the age of thirteen. Therefore, anyone under thirteen who tries to create a profile will be rejected. Furthermore, using a phony birthday will not work since their USAHockey.com profile will not match their USAH Membership Database information and they will not receive proper information.

Any parent of a child under 13 years-of-age who wishes to register their son/daughter for an officiating seminar must create their own profile, and use it to access the Seminar Catalog. At the Seminar Catalog you may contact the Coordinator of the seminar you wish to attend (see available link) to explain your situation and ask them to add your son/daughter to the roster as a "walk-up".

  • Officials that will be 18 years of age or older and anticipate working games in Idaho, must ensure their background checks have been completed.  For further information, see the Risk Manager.
